They both say the same thing and both from Nulaxy.** A: The 13.99 stand is a bigger and slightly heavier stand so the phone sits a a little higher. I use it on my bed because it's more stable on the mattress. The 7.99 one is smaller and lighter and is perfect for my desk at work. This one is stable on a solid surface and the other can more or less handle a sofa or bed. They are both sturdy and well built. If I were to carry one around I'd choose the smaller one for convenience and lighter weight. If I were to use a large tablet I might lean towards the larger stand though using touchscreen on a note 4 and the smaller stand works well. I like the phone sitting higher with the bigger stand in bed and the phone sitting a bit lower on the smaller stand at work. If you really wanted to make it magnetic you could purchase some rubber magnetic material and stick it on. If you had some type of metal plate on the back of your phone it would stick.
