Great phone holder
Not a bad solution for a phone holder. Mounting location is great. I did not get extra tape like others said, but I am fine with that. Put some lock tight on the screw as it did loosen on me but seems to be fine now. Mount does shake a bit but not enough to bother me.Over all I’m pretty happy with this phone holder. Holds my IPhone 8 perfect. You will have to use two hands to get it in and out

****UPDATED 2/27/2020*** Why Did I Wait So Long!!! Get It!!!
****UPDATED 2/27/2020***The piece that goes from the piece that is screwed in to the phone holder broke when I was trying to put my iphone in the holder. I have had this product exactly 1 year and I use it everyday! I contacted the company to see if I can just purchase the 2 pieces since the base is still in perfect condition (I followed the instruction to the T and installed it really well). They simply said we apologize (They didn't need to, I think everyday use for 1 year with the heavy Iphone, plus texas heat and by hard grip did the trick of breaking it) and asked for my address and sent me a whole new unit. Wow, customer service at its best...Only negative on this product is that you do have to keep a screw driver close by, I generally tighten it every week, it comes loose. just takes 10-15 sec but to us lazy americans that too much time...Overall I am very happy with this unit. It felt so light and cheap when I opened the box but I took some time and read the install instruction on line. Borrowed my wife’s hairdryer and heated up the tap. It took a while getting the two unmasked it is very sticky and small! I pressed on the unit for about 3-5 min and let it stay in place with putting the phone for 12 hours just to be safe... ok so the results are incredible! It fits perfect and looks like it is part of the truck and it belongs there. It does not take away from anything and it moves 360 so I can place the phone just they way I want it. I have tried to take it on bumpy roads and it stays put. I wanted to use it daily for 2 weeks before posting a review so I can be totally honest. The only issue that I have with it is that the tension is super tight so it is not easy to get the phone out but due to this tension my big iPhone XS Max does not budge at all when it’s in the holder! I love it. If you own a f150 that this unit is recommended for the. I say get it! Take some time installing it like I did and you will not be disappointed. They said send you a lot of extra tape in case you screw up or have to reinstall due to any issue later. Oh I also cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol really well before installing. I hope this review helps. I would give it 6 stars if I had the option...

Great placement for the F150, but sprint anchor quality seems low, ball joint needs to be tighter.
Good idea, but the ball joint in the back is very loose, and becomes more so in the heat. The spring mechanism seems to be the second quality issues. My wife pulled it to remove the phone (probably a little hard) and one of the spring in the back broke from its anchor. The next spring didn’t take long after. However, I contacted the company and was surprised three days later when a replacement arrived. The workaround to the loose ball joint, is to wrap about twenty wraps of teflon tape around the threads. You may have to add a few more if not tight enough. Summer heat affects it. 21/08/01 Update. I don’t use this because it comes loose at two points: a) the screw at the base comes loose every day, installed washer, but didn’t help. Guess I could try glue. B) the rear ball joint is not tight, I’ve used lots of Teflon tape, but it only holds for a couple of hours, then the phone starts slipping until it faces down. Great concept, bad implementation.

solid product
I really like this product but after several months of consistent use the piece that the phone attaches to broke off. I will have to order a new one.

Phone holder too tight. Will it ever come off?
The actual phone holder that comes with the bracket is very tight. I actually used an adjustable holder from a different bracket and combined the parts. So far it works. The bracket adheres well. I'm not sure how that will work if I ever need to remove the product from my dashboard; but I'm not going to worry about that for now.
