Good quality neoprene
Good quality neoprene, I bought these to help with shin splints. So far I'm having less pain. I haven't tried other compression products yet.

I have found the calf supports to be very useful. Wear them when running - 2-3 times per week - and biking - 2-3 times a week. Really provide the support I need and very comfortable.

Fit well even on long legs.
I am about 6'3" tall and have a long and slender lower leg. The fit of the small/medium sleeves covers the bulk of my calf and actually fit better than I thought they would. They are comfortable and provide comfortable support. I took a short jog in them to see how my calves would feel after and they felt good. I like to include running in my workouts and I feel like these will provide good support for those mid to long runs and possibly even for sprints. The only gripe I have about them is that the Velcro at the top rear of each sleeve can rub and chafe your leg if not fastened with a full overlap. I found this out very early and quickly fixed the problem. I'm not sure they are totally necessary but others might like that they offer just a tad of sizing flexibility. I received a discount on this product in exchange for an honest review.

very comfortable to wear all day
I got these OFX Neoprene compression sleeves to help with my shin splints. It works very well in alleviating my shin pains so I can run longer. These sleeves are not heavy and is very comfortable to wear all day long. It also does double duty as leg warmer too so that is nice. You can wear long pants over it comfortably. I have not experienced chafing after wearing them all day. This is well made with quality material. I like it a lot. I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review.
