Have grumpy kitties, pissy kitties, evil kitties. Don’t worry just buy this. It works. I first thought to myself after being told my vet I should this was. Sure, sure it will help my kitty’s behavior. I really thought this was going to be hog wash but was I pleasantly surprised. It works! I have four kitties that all have their own personalities and their own behavior issues. After about a week I start to notice a difference. It really chills them out. They have now become one big happy family. Please give this a try if you’re having any troubles with your cats.

The description said that humans can’t smell these feline pheromones, but I certainly could and it gave me a really bad headache and upset stomach. I am sensitive to smells. It didn’t bother my husband, but the cat was super active overnight. She did actually sit in my lap (which she very rarely does) and has been very friendly, but I am going to have to throw it away. It was only plugged in for about 12 hours, but I can still smell it and it has been unplugged for over 24 hours. It was also deceiving that it says you get the diffuser and refill. You only get one liquid container. I was expecting two, not that it matters because I’m going to toss it anyway. I’m usually so careful and read reviews, but I unfortunately didn’t on this.

This isn't an inexpensive product, and I suspect the company enjoys a glorious profit margin. Also, this listing indicates a "starter kit and refill." There's only one container of the product.But if your goal is to calm your cat or try to mold behavior, what do you care? The goal is to have some peace.Earlier versions of this Feliway seemed somewhat beneficial, but for our use this version takes it up a notch.One of our two cats has an aggressive history against others cats, and she requires more monitoring than many people would tolerate.Her fear/aggression has been tamped down with hard work, and this product has added another level to her balky serenity.Will this modify anxiety, skittish behavior, etching the leather couch with claws or even litter box issures? I don't know. But I'd certainly give it a shot.Because it's not cheap, 24/7 usage might not be the only approach.Depending on the behavior issue, you might be able to unplug it at night or when the cat is sleeping - and cats sleep a lot - thereby extending the life of the product.

This product seems to work, as my cat isn’t as nearly as aggressive towards my 14 year old Italian Greyhound. It would be nice if the diffuser was designed with a way (such as beeping) when the bottle in it runs dry.For those thinking about purchasing this product, be highly aware that there’s several people that ended up with defusers designed to run on the European power system vice that of our American system. I don’t blame those people for getting mad, as Amazon should know better than to send a product that’s designed to work overseas to a house address here in America. I STRONGLY suggest that you use your CREDIT CARD to make purchases like this so you have recourse over companies that cheat consumers as you can call your credit card company and cancel your payment if and when the seller refuses to either take the product back/refund you or swap it for the correct product. Nearly all credit cards provide such protection to the holders for just this reason, as people are (rightfully) complaining that they’re unable to get their money back for a product that doesn’t work here in the states.

Not impressed

I bought this for a friend who also has a TNR cat from a cat colony. He is very bitey, scratchy like my boy. I hope this helps her cat calm down, too.

My cat started to urinate outside of his litter box. My vet recommended I purchase these calming collars. I was surprised to find they worked. 1 day after I put the collar on my cat, he started using the litter box again. I don’t know how they work, but they do

This item was ordered on US Amazon. It was sent to a USA address. It came from UK and has a 240 VAC UK electric plug in. Not usable on standard USA home electric system. To add insult to injury the item is not eligible for return!I think this is a problem with Amazon and not the company.VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!
