They truly are works of pop art, just as their vinyl predecessors were (and still are to people like me). --Gary Moore, 95.5KLOS-FM

BOC Live
Great live compilation of the band's first three albums. Very cool packaging too, they essentially mimicked this to look just like the original vinyl packaging, right down to the gatefold and album sleeves with photos on them - and they include both sleeves (it was originally released as a double LP set), even though the whole thing is on one CD. Additionally, the CD itself is black on both sides and they added a texture to the top side to make it look and feel like the grooves in a vinyl record.

Great Remaster
I've been waiting along time for this album to be remastered. I've tried doing as best I could with parametric eqs, adding gain all kinds of stuff. Then gave up looking for a remastered copy. Then I saw this one and was really hesitant about buying it, because there weren't alot of reviews about the quality of the remastering. These guys did one hell of a job! Amazing sound. Would definitely buy anything they remaster.

Rock and ROLL lives forever
I remember my friend turning me on to BOC and this album in particular back in '76. I remember being blown away by the versatility of this band and the great playing. Such a fun band and what great parts they write, still going strong, so am I! And the lyrics (RIP Sandy Pearlman!) are a hoot. Seven Screaming Diz-busters!

Well worth it!
An excellent CD that replaced my worn out cassette version. The best part was after an excellent Blue Oyster Cult concert at Wildwood Springs, MO. Donald Roeser, (Buck Dharma), was gracious enough to autograph his picture back in the day. Yes BOC is still one of the most underrated bands around.

Classic BOC
This is the first BOC album I bought on vinyl without a clue what the band sounded like.I was pleasantly surprised.Buck Dharma became my new guitar hero. Here was a band that had their own unique sound.Hard rock that was quite melodic.Every song sounded different from the next. The sound quality on this album always had a sloppy bootleg quality to it and is inconsistent from song to song. However, this new remaster improves the sound as much as possible.

2013 remaster Limited Edition
Just a quick review for the 2013 remaster, which will no doubt get lost in amongst reviews for the standard release. The double live album (one one CD) has always been in my top 5 favourite live albums of all time, but the original cd didn't really do it justice, with a thin tinny sound, lacking in bottom end, but still sounding magnificent nonetheless !This 'Legends Of Rock' reissue addresses that problem, and is one of those remasters which sound like care has been taken and doesn't sound compressed to hell. I'm not sure if this is the same master used for the recent Complete Columbia Albums collection, but if it is, i' ll be ordering that too for the 2 or 3 albums i 'm missing. The packaging is pretty cool too, the gatefold sleeve and 2 colour inner sleeves replicate the original release, and is in a sturdy high gloss finish (which the original album wasn't). It's the same size sleeve as all Japanese Mini LP-s and even has it's own OBI strip (which also doesn't replicate the original Japanese OBI).Not quite up there with the Japanese release's but less than half the price, but i'm not sure this title has been released in Mini LP format in japan?Strictly Limited to 3000 copies, it should become a collectors item in it's own right anyway. Snap one up!

This cd cost about £8 which is good. Even if you can
This album was the 1st BOC album to go top 40 in the USA album charts. This is a special cd only 3000 copies its remixed to top standard. Its the only BOC live album you will ever need, its raw, its live no overdubs and it rocks. Later BOC got lighter they never quite rocked as hard again as on this cd. This cd cost about £8 which is good. Even if you can,t get this cd get it in normal cd as it ROCKS. For old rockers and old rockers that are young.

Album live incontournable !
(Cf la version de Born to Be Wild...).
