Keep em coming! --A ViewerDove Worldview: Children will love this film with trucks galore in it. It is quite interesting seeing the different types of vehicles. From bulldozers to dump trucks, crane trucks to pavement trucks, semi truck, plow trucks, tractors and graders. Some of my favorites are the lumbering equipment, the monster truck Bigfoot , mining equipment and radio controlled toy trucks. There are many more styles and types of trucks too numerous to mention. You will also get to hear songs along the way. There is some crushing of other cars by Bigfoot, but not anything I would worry about young minds getting the wrong idea about. The program keeps moving pretty fast so I believe your child will want to watch it over and over if they are into playing with those kinds of toys. With nothing at all in our Dove content rating to be concerned about, we award our Dove Family-Approved Seal to this film. - Reviewer, Dana Langworthy --Dove Worldwide FoundationVideo Librarian Magazine January/February 2009 (Volume 24, Issue 1) Lots & Lots of Trucks Vol. 1: Hard-Workin Trucks! (2007) 40 min. Big trucks, little trucks, diesel, freight, and firefighting trucks, even trucks that blow through snow! Old trucks, new trucks, fast trucks, slow trucks, smokin trucks, even trucks down on the farm. Plus diggers, dozers, dumpers, and much, much more! True to its title, Lots & Lots of Trucks also features footage of mail trucks, tow trucks, forklifts, cement mixing trucks, feller bunchers, utility trucks, and garbage trucks. Combining nice sharp footage of various shiny clean rigs against cloudless blue skies and original music by James Coffey, this fun production incorporates shots from the cab and over the wheel that give children the feeling that they re riding along. I can t speak for little girls, but my five- and eight-year old sons adore this DVD, which given its perennial kid appeal should be a must-buy for children s collections. Highly recommended. Kid like trucks? Then prepare to be amazed!
My son loves anything with wheels. Before he could talk, he could make a number of realistic vehicle sounds. He would disappear in his room for an hour just to roll a truck back and forth. We got this DVD to occupy him on a road trip when he was 17 months old. He's about to turn 3 in a few weeks and it is still his favorite. He makes me sing the songs to him at bedtime. He hums the tunes while reading picture books about trucks. This DVD is fantastic! Worth every single penny!

Amazing and Educational
My 5 year old son loves this DVD. It is educational, and that is important to me, as a parent. It can hold his attention. He is excited to tell me all the new things he has learned!

Makes my 3 year old son very happy
But drives me nuts. How many times a day can a three year old watch the same show? The answer is more times than you want to know. I sing the 'Lots and lots of trucks' theme song in my sleep (although it is far more entertaining to hear my son sing it).If you have a young child into trucks- this is the dvd for you. One word of caution and advise- buy headphones.

Now I can get something done!
My two year old absolutely LOVES this DVD. He will sit and watch the entire thing, allowing me to get something done in the house without him following me around and wanted to "help" with everything I do. It is a fast paced dvd with many different video clips so he doesn't get bored with any one thing like he does with other videos. I'm very happy with it and plan on getting more dvds from the lots and lots series!

A film masterpiece for 4 year-old boys
The Amazon.com warehouse must have a basement. In that basement, in a dark corner that no one goes except maybe a few times a year, is where they probably keep their supply of 'Lots and Lots of Trucks Vol. 1' dvd's.We found and showed the YouTube promo of this dvd to our son and he got excited. It was ordered for his 4th birthday, and he LOVES is. Crying ensues when this 40 minute video is over. I'm not sure what the appeal is, but this production has some magical hold on toddler boys. From an adult's prospective, this truck video can be summarized as a compilation of stock early 1990's footage combined with some home movies all set to music. There is no commentary in this video; it's just a ballad of hard working trucks. It perhaps looks like something that could have been spliced together in someone's basement over a weekend. Nonetheless, the kids love it!I will be buying Volume 2!

Autistic son loves them!
I have an 8 year old with autism and he absolutely loves these videos because they are real-life, not animated. They are so realistic with all of the sights and sounds that he gets totally absorbed. There is not a ridiculous amount of narration as in some others we own, so you really get to hear the sounds of life with those trucks. Highly recommend!

The kids love it
My twin 28 month boys love this DVD. If you've bought the Lots of Planes or Lots of Trains from the same company, it's much the same. I find the lyrics and music to be annoying(but very catchy) and most of the footage is recycled over and over again. But the kids love it and that's all that matters.

Mesmerizing
My son is 18 months old and he is obsessed with this video. Sure, it's missing narration and lots of the footage is dated and/or is grainy in quality -- my toddler doesn't care. All he wants to do is watch the multitude of trucks that fill the screen and listen to the James Coffey soundtrack over and over and over again while Mom can sit down and eat dinner.
