Perfect replacement for the BB-ES70
As the photo shows, this ES51 can replace the ES70 (and, I assume other ESxx versions). Just make sure that the numbers (e.g., 68 and 113) are the same. By the way, these weigh 256g on my home scale (15g more than the ES70). Installation went easily. You need a special spline tool to uninstall/install. Don't forget that the right side thread is left-handed, so "lefty-tighty" applies.

Budget price. High quality. Delivered on time.
My 17 year old BB finally failed. With much much abuse. Shimano quality here. You can rest assured of that. Easy installation, decent price and Shimano excellence. Highly recommended.

Shimano Quality.
Great Shimano Quality, reasonably priced and is the bottom bracket to use for those late 90's crankarms that take this BB only.

Worked great, much better than the short lived noisy ES21 I replaced. Be sure to remove your old bottom bracket and match up the correct size. If the diameter is off it won't fit at all, if the length is off ou may find your pedals no longer in the right place (including the crank gearing locations as well).

Defective
After about 10 miles of riding the bottom bracket started to click and creak. Took it to my local bike shop and they told me the ball bearings were bad.

Octalink bottom bracket upgrade from Square Taper
I've got a 1996 Specialized Rockhopper, stripped the left crank arm by stupidly trying to remove the pedal by rotating for Right Hand threads. NOTE on Threads: left crank has Left Hand threads, drive/right side of bottom bracket has Left Hand threads. Tried to upgrade my old, tired square taper bottom bracket to a Hollow Tech II, but couldn't find a suitable crankset for gearing ratio or bottom bracket width. My bike has a 73mm wide shell, had trouble finding HT II bottom bracket and crankset to match, so I went with available Octalink instead, which is working great. Apparently Octalink is older and has fallen out of favor, current preference in biking community is Hollow Tech II.

Great BB, much stiffer than the square taper it replaced. Installation was easy. My only concern is with the design, using a plastic threaded ring on the NDS. If that becomes an issue, the metal one from a higher end BB can be bought on amazon.
