All Natural Shaved Bonito Fish Treat for Cats, 4 Ounces

My cats loved the Kitty Kaviar in the blue cans. This appears to be the same brand repackaged into a black bag, but the product is NOT the same. These fish pieces are large and thick like wood bark (not flaky and wispy thin). The smell is different too, like a weird woodsy mint (not fishy). Upon closer examination, I discovered that the entire 4oz package of cat treats is covered in black mold or touching it -- see photos. Very disappointed, and upset that I had taken a few whiffs of mold trying to figure out why my cat was snubbing it.

Wasted money. Not one of my 9 cats will touch it. They sniff and then walk away. I usually purchase the Cat Man Do and will go back to that as it is soft and obviously very tasty as all of my 9 eat it. I tried this one as it is 12.95 VS 19.95 for Cat Man Do. But, if they won't eat the 12.95 product, it is a total waste.. The product should be soft but it is as hard as cereal. Crunchy even. I was shocked. I should return it but don't want to bother for 12.95, but buyer beware, this product is either very old and has hardened or the way they process the fish is not working. Check out Cat Man Do. You'll be much better satisfied.

I got this for my one cat (a dump off starved kitten) a while back and he would not even touch it, but he is extremely finicky. I ended up feeding it to my dog. Then I got another dump off, also starved, kitten. I had just a little bit of these fish flakes left, and he loved it. So I got another bag, and it is his favorite treat. When you open the bag, it is extremely fishy smelling, but that just proves that it is real fish. I will continue to buy this for him. One bag goes a long way.

I have two cats that can be very finicky about treats & food. I save these flakes for special occasions & my cats absolutely go mad for it... they just love it !! If you adore your fur babies as much as I do mine, I highly recommend buying this product because not only will it give your cats a delicious and favorite treat… but it will give you incredible satisfaction knowing how much your cats love it.

My cat used to come running when she saw the blue container of kitty caviar, so I was really excited to find what I thought was the same product on Amazon. Boy was I wrong. This stuff is either so thick it's like wood shavings, or it's been pulverized because they ship the soft bag in another soft bag, so nothing survives. It doesn't even smell like seafood. My cat took one look at this and turned away. I ended up throwing it out. What a waste of $17.

I used to buy this in the blue can and it was really good this new product is not anything like that. It is like plastic I am not happy with it at all.

My "monster" cats love this stuff! Only problem is, explaining to them that they can't eat the whole package all at the same time. I did transfer it to a glass jar for my own convenience and easier storeage. Its a little pricey, and we give it to them only on special occassions, like when we give them a fur trim with the electric clippers; or, on occasion, if they have to have an unpleasant first-aid or medicine application.

Our Lulu was losing weight but by putting some Kitty Kaviar on top, she ate more than usual. I recently found apPETizers which is Kitty Kaviar in a shaker bottle that makes it very easy to put on top of a dish of food. Made by the same company.

My cats adore this product. They eat it as it is or I sprinkle it on their kibbles. Excellent.
