Schwarzkopf Palette Intensive Cream Colour 678 Ruby Red (Pack of 3) WARNING - REACTION TO HAIR COLOUR - ALWAYS DO THE PATCH TEST BEFORE USEI bought this colour in a 3 pack about 8 weeks ago. Fantastic price, amazing colour and after spending ages finding the right shade I was a happy bunny.I have been colouring my hair for many years, approx 25, since i was a hairdresser in my teens. I am writing this because I did not follow the manufacturers instructions and perform a test for allergic reaction before using this product and have been left with horrible red lumps and scars on my face and neck due to a really nasty reaction after using this product. It's been almost 2 weeks now and I am hoping that it will heal eventually but really wish I'd taken the advice on the packet.I used this colour about 8 weeks ago with no problems whatsoever but the last time almost 2 weeks ago now is when I,ve had the reaction. I also left the product on way to long as I was bathing my kids. Please, please take my advice always do a test, everytime you colour your hair. It might seem a right pain to do but believe me if you saw the results of not doing one to my face you would be shocked. The spots/lumps follow a typical rinse pattern from when I rinsed off the hair colour, hairline, down sides of cheeks (worse areas) and then down either side of my neck (these are also very large angry lumps).I'm considering still using this product as I like the colour so much but I think I might be over the top this time and do 2 tests the week before just to make sure.May I also say that it is not the blame of the product in any way that i know of. My doctor has advised me that it was probably as result of my immunity being low after illness that I had this reaction and not because the product was faulty.I have learned a valuable lesson from this experience and I really hope that if I stop even just one person from going through this awful experience, I will be happy I made the effort to write this.PLEASE DO A SKIN TEST BEFORE USE. I MIGHT HAVE SCARS FOR LIFE FOR NOT FOLLOWING MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE YOU KNOW - PASS THIS ADVICE ON PLEASE. It's a yummy colour and doesn't hurt when applying (some dyes hurt my scalp). My sister has gone red too - and she's always been blonde !

Gives a really nice shade of red and leaves hair in great condition. Would recommend if you want a bright red.
