I'm wanting to use this to sign off skills records,but need my instructor # along with my signature** A: 1) Write/draw/print what you want (whether 1 or multiple lines). 2) Choose an appropriate “Impression Area” size stamp that will accept your total area. 3) Try to ensure your Impression Area is ‘actual size’, i.e. your PNG or JPG file is cropped to only that size. Some people have complained their stamp print was ‘too small’ but I wonder if that was their mistake trying to fit a large image (with small imprint) into the ‘footprint’ rectangle they present to you when placing the order, so their image has been scaled down. 4) The stamp should reproduce whatever is within the Impression Area. Just beware if your writing/printing is very small, they might find it hard to reproduce small, fine lines, so they might come out a little thicker. **Q: Is there some kind of mark on the stamp housing (body?) to indicate where to align it with the signature line on a document?** A: The signature is written on the very top and stamp is aligned perfectly on the bottom. Wherever you place it on your documents and push down, the signature will appear. If you align it crooked or over the signature line blank on your documents, the stamp will come out crooked. **Q: The only signatures that I can find have a straight line underneath the signature. Can that line be removed so just the signature is present?** A: If the signature is yours, you can write onto a paper and snap a picture to upload. If it’s for someone who can no longer sign, can you use write out around the signature to remove the line? If not, whatever image is uploaded will be in the stamp. **Q: Will this work if photo of signature is in blue ink? I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and cannot use pens anymore. I decided to buy one of these to use whenever I can’t use an e-signature on certain documents. I’m so glad I did. It’s compact, light weight, and very easy to use with little effort required. I used a Sharpie to hand write my signature on a piece of plain white paper then took a picture of it with my phone. The stamp came out clear, bold, and vibrant and applies just the right amount of ink from the built in ink pad. It also dried quickly and didn’t smudge when I ran my finger across it. I bought an extra bottle of ink to have on hand. Both were very reasonably priced. The best part: it arrived in just a few days!
