Review: 5 year review - I bought this MX Palm Rest five years ago and it’s only just started to look a little tired. A bit of peeling, a slightly scruffy edge or two. Fair enough. It has supported my wrists through thousands of emails, spreadsheets, late nights, and the occasional rage-typing session. For something that costs what it does, five solid years of daily use feels like excellent value. It’s comfortable, it stays put, and it does exactly what it says on the tin. If this is what “wearing out” looks like after half a decade, I’ll happily buy another. No drama. No hesitation.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What color is the palm rest you received? The product description says black, but I received a gray/graphite color.**
A: It’s dark grey. Very misleading. Because apparently there are two color MX keys keyboards. Graphite, which matches this wrist rest and black. I have the black keyboard and don’t want a graphite rest

**Q: How does this compare to glorious pc master race wrist rest (normal thickness)?**
A: Matching the low profile design of the MX Keys keyboard it is quite thin, about 7 mm. This effectively raises your wrists about 4 mm once the padding settles. The wrist rest has an nice texture that is smooth but still not too slippery. The (gel?) padding has enough give without forming deep indentations to trap the heels of you palms. Given the fixed slant of the keyboard, it is most ergonomic in a setup with a tray/shelf just above your lap.

**Q: I intend to use this, with the mx key for mac, in a mobile manner. is there a black mesh to connect them available [with appropriate space between]?**
A: This is a separate padded piece for you to place wherever you please or require.

**Q: The dimensions state this is 2.63 inches high, is that correct? I have the mx keys and wrist pad that's 0.8 inches and it's not comfortable.**
A: It's not 2.63 inches high -- it's 2.63 inches wide. It's about .5 inches high.
