Vollrath1-1/2 qt Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl

The initial image shows a set of bowl - I understood that this would be a set - the cost for a single bowl is very high - be super careful when ordering - limited value for money - for this item you are not able to send back - total hack

Although it’s a nice mixing bowl at a low price, I specifically was looking for stainless steel made in USA.This info should be listed clearly in the chart.Amazon should make origin source information transparent and CONVENIENT to locate.Some customers are willing to pay extra for products sourced from particular places.

I wanted a mixing bowl made out of metal for cooking, this works fine. Bought 2 bowls, and they nest nicely for stacking tightly. I could probably do without the lip for extra compactness but it's not a big deal for me.My biggest issue was the packaging - both bowls I purchased came in a plastic bag that was taped to the inside of the bowl, for some reason. The adhesive from the tape was extremely difficult to remove. I tried soap and hot water, which did nothing. I tried acetone, which didn't work. I tried using cooking oil, that didn't work. What I ultimately had to do was use extreme physical force with a dry paper towel which was a PITA.I'm not a big fan of consuming adhesive so they could have done a better job with that aspect, but the bowl is fine otherwise. Yes it's made in India according to the sticker at least (which was very easy to remove in comparison to the tape).

I thought when it said one and a half quart it would be 48 ounces but it is only 32 ounces. It is not big enough for the food I need to put in the bowl.I already have 5 bowls that are 32 ounces.

Like other reviewers, I bought this bowl to use in my instant pot. It worked great making rice the same time as meat. I put it in the dishwasher to clean and it looks like a part of the stainless steel came off already and now it looks chipped. I will probably keep this and continue to use it, but if you want something that won't chip, I would purchase a different item.
