Strong, Compact, Security How did you come up with the idea for this product? The idea came from finding a way to make a compact but high security lock. By going through a long design process of getting market feedback, prototype testing and end user testing we refined a high quality long lasting product. We had a basic idea then we let the idea grow into what VIER is today. What makes your product special? For the most part the standard U-Lock has been on the market for years with little improvement. Folding locks have come into the market but are costly and provide less security then a U-lock. We have taken the best parts of those two locks and provided a high security lock in a compact form. What has been the best part of your startup experience? Starting conversations with people about VIER and seeing there eye’s light up with the unique and newness of the idea. Plus meeting great new people through the journey of bring something new to market.
