This Garolite is composed of a glass woven fabric base impregnated with a flame-retardant epoxy resin binder. It has extremely high mechanical strength and good electric strength properties. Review: Bought to use as a nylon 3d printing surface. Was wary after reading reviews, but went for it. It arrived "naked" in a bubble mailer as other reviewers said, with two stickers on it (so desertcart can inventory it). But it was flat, the edges of the sheet were mayyybe damaged 1mm in from the score/snap process, and it was in great shape. A few minor scuffs on the sheet, nothing close to what I'd even call a scratch or gouge. First step with any 3d printing surface is an IPA wipe, so that took care of the sticker goo. Next step with garolite is a scuff-sand with 200 grit sandpaper, so the surface finish as delivered didn't matter anyway. First print on this thing was *awesome*, and I couldn't be happier with it. Review: I purchased this for use on a 3D printer bed and it works amazingly well. The board holds heat and evenly distributes it without warping. Once the print is complete it pop off without any issues. Edges were roughly cut like someone used a handsaw with all the teeth removed, edges are all delaminating, sheet is scratched like I was run under a brush made of concrete teeth.
