Yes, it's plenty large enough for the Mac Track Pad. It's also very sturdy and much better than all the cheap plastic one out there.

I honestly don’t remember how deep the screws went. However, they are not very long. I mounted it to a wooden keyboard tray. You may be able to just buy shorter screws if you need to. This is a really sturdy mouse pad accessory.

Unfortunately, you cannot mount the Hafele Tilt-N-Swivel onto a solid plastic desk.
