Pokémon Detective Pikachu 3D Limited Edition (3D Blu-ray+Bluray+DVD+Digital)

Finally, a feature film involving Pokemon with fantastic CGI and character development. This movie did the job of taking into the World of Pokemon much like the movie Ready Player One and finished off with you appreciating the growing attachment to the characters and adventure you embark on.

As an original Pokemon fan, watching from the beginning, I really loved this movie!!I love Ryan Reynolds and him voicing Pikachu was so fun!The plot is good. Lots of action & adventure! All expected from a Pokemon movie! ❤️

Rob Letterman’s 2019 film, “Pokémon: Detective Pikachu,” tells the story of Tim Goodman (Justice Smith), a disillusioned Pokémon trainer and an insurance agent who travels to Ryme City following the death of his estranged father, Harry. After meeting Harry’s old boss, Detective Hideo Yoshida (Ken Watanabe), Tim goes to his father’s apartment to clear it out, encountering memories of his youth. In the midst of his packing, a Pikachu (Ryan Reynolds) appears that Tim can mysteriously understand even though people normally only hear Pokémon saying their names (Ikue Ōtani, the voice of Pikachu in the video games and animated series, reprises her role for this). Pikachu claims that he was Harry’s partner and needs to solve the case they were working to figure out how Harry died. Reluctantly, Tim agrees, especially when they discover that something called “R” is making Pokémon particularly aggressive. They work with Lucy Stevens (Kathryn Newton), a junior reporter, who shows them evidence pointing back to Clifford Industries and its heads, Howard and Roger Clifford (Chris Geere and Bill Nighy). They being to uncover the nefarious goings on at Clifford Industries. Along the way, they meet Mewtwo (Rina Hoshino and Kotaro Watanabe) and see the wonders of the Pokémon world, with Tim rediscovering his love of Pokémon. All is not well, however, as Clifford Industries is up to far more than genetic experimentation to enhance Pokémon’s abilities.The movie is a lot of fun and captures both the nostalgia of the now-26-year-old franchise while telling a fun original story. The setting of Ryme City evokes other urban noir films. Reynolds, Smith, and Nighy are great and the visual effects make the Pokémon look as realistic as possible, with real-life analogues such as fur, skin, scales, and bone looking particularly great. This is great for both long-time fans and now their children, too. Bonus features on this Blu-ray include “Detective Mode,” which allows the viewer to watch the film with hidden clues, pop-up trivia, and more; an alternate opening; “My Pokémon Adventure”; “Creating the World of Detective Pikachu” featurettes; “Mr. Mime’s Audio Commentary”; “Ryan Reynolds – Outside the Actor’s Studio”; and a music video. The packaging also says that this Blu-ray includes a special Pokémon trading card, but it was not included with the copy I bought.

Ma critique ne va porter que sur le produit en lui-même et non le film à qui je met d’office 5* car je l’ai trouvé génial et à la hauteur de mes attentes !! Étant fan de Pokémon depuis plus de 20 ans je ne peux pas être objectif là-dessus désolé !Ma note est pour le combo 4K + BR 3D + BR Stellbook : c’est une grosse blague ! Le steelbook est très belle et l’impression de très bonne qualité MAIS la grosse blague se trouve à l’intérieur : 2 emplacements pour 3 disques !! 35€ pour avoir 2 disques l’un sur l’autre c’est inadmissible surtt que c’est uniquement de la HD !! Donc Warner/Legendary c’est bien d’avoir fait un très bon film, ç’aurait été parfait d’aller au bout des choses !!

A perfect 4K release. Movie is entertaining. Kids definitely loved this. This 3 discs pack (4K+3D+2D) should be a Collector's Edition but,due to very ordinary packaging (even cover page quality is very thin n poor) we can't consider this as Collector's pack. Poor packaging is minus point here.Got a very nice n attractive Pikachu soft toy with this pack. Full points to Excel for included this in 4K edition. Hindi dubbing is just ok. Overall must buy movie for all Pokemon/Pikachu Fanz.

Niente da dire sul prodotto in generale, ho molto apprezzato il fatto che dentro ci fosse la carta speciale che di solito danno al cinema. L'unica pecca di questo formato è l'assenza totale di contenuti speciali. Sarebbero stati apprezzati scene tagliate o il making of o il dietro le quinte, invece ci hanno messo solo il parere personale di Justice Smith di appena pochi minuti. Un gran peccato, ormai i contenuti speciali valgono quanto il film e il fatto che non ci siano fa perdere molto il valore di questo formato.

C'è poco da dire sui film Blu ray venduti da Amazon, sono quasi perfetti. Prezzi quasi imbattibili, si presentano puliti e semplici, hanno una vastissima disponibilità e per un collezionista come me è il paradiso dei film. SUPER CONSIGLIATO!!!il film in questione a me è piaciuto moltissimo, tutto trasformato in realtà, per gli amanti dei Pokemon, IMPERDIBILE!
