- The Human growth hormone soluble receptor (so called hGH binding protein) protein from Ansh Labs is an E. coli sourced protein that has been purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. The protein was lyophilized from a concentrated (0.3 mg/ml) solution in Tris-HCl, pH 8 + 300 mM NaHCO3 and 10-fold excess (w/w)of glycine.
- Greater than > 95% purity. The purified hGHBP (28K) consists of > 98% monomers as determined by gel-filtration chromatography. PLR's hGHBP is fully biologically active as evidenced by its ability of forming 2:1 complex with hGH. Endotoxin - < 0.1 ng/ug. Protein quantitation was carried out by UV spectroscopy at 280 nm using the absorbency value of 2.64 as the extinction coefficient for a 0.1% (1 mg/ml) solution at pH 8.0.
- Lyophilized hGHBP although stable at RT for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution at > 0.1 hGHBP mg/ml and filter sterilization hGHBP can be stored at 4C for several weeks. At lower concentration addition of a carrier protein (0.1% HAS or BSA) is suggested. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
