How much space is in between the legs?

Accepted Answer

Inside width is 52". However, the leveling pads extend 1/2" beyond the width of each leg, effectively limiting the inner width to 51" on the ground.

What kind of casters fit on the table?

Currently this workbench does not support the installation of casters. We will launch a workbench that can be upgraded with casters later, and you can pay attention to our shop.

Question 3

Can you screw stuff down to the top like a vice since it's "rubber wood"?

Yes but this wood top is only for light duty work.  Rubberwood is relatively new to the marketplace.  It's lumber from the old trees that they collect latex sap from...when they eventually quit producing sap and die, they usually have left the logs in piles to rot as a trash wood.  In recent years they figured out a way to stabilize the wood and started using it for lumber.  It's harder than many Asian woods but softer than most North American hardwoods.  Looks nice, tends to flake or splinter sometimes.  Having used it would choose good thick particleboard instead, or quality baltic birch plywood.  For a thin top like this and being what it is, I would not plan to hammer much or put a lot of torsional force on items in your vice but for most handy and hobby jobs it should be fine.

Question 4

Can you mount computer monitors on this desk? Is the overhang large enough to fit a the mounting clamp?

Accepted Answer

If you center the top per the instructions you will have 1.50” overhang both front and back on the bench. Theoretically you could bias the top to one side or the other if you wish,  ie ...2.0” in back and 1.0” in front or some other offset its up to you.
There are no pre-drilled pilot holes in the top so you can place the top where you want in relation to the frame.
