The interior liner is designed to keep your feet warm in very low temps...-21 degrees and cool in 85 degrees. I have not experienced the extreme heat as of yet since it is still winter where I live...I will update when the time comes. I cannot say enough about Ariat and the boots they make...as a back surgery patient, comfort is paramount to me and they are the best boots made that I have found to not cause me any back pain...I have paid much more for junk boots and paying $179 for these was well worth the money.
