I was a little worried about getting this growth chart, because there were so many negative reviews of the quality. But I have to say I’m very pleased with the quality. Everything is printed on the wood not applied with a sticker. It fits perfectly in my sons room, and doesn’t make it look too juvenile. This way he can grow with it and it doesn’t look like it’s for a baby. I love the picture that’s printed on the ski. The whole thing is just beautiful. We used a sharpie to record his previous heights. I thought that the surface was too smooth and the sharpie would rub right off. But it didn’t. . I’m so happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Great item! Please be aware this is a completely flat board...tip and rear of board does not curve up. Two fine tip black permanent markers are included, however it's difficult to see on the blue background - only thing that kept me from giving this product a 5 star rating. Purchased white paint markers, which work great.

Nice affordable growth chart. We got the wooden appearance ski. It is a veneer on a plywood board. From a distance, just like in the photo on amazon it looks like real wood ski. Up close, really not so much, but we are not disappointed. We use this to keep track of our child's growth and can take it with us if we ever move.

It's a painted sticker on top of wood. not what I was looking for.

I bought the traditional blue one for my son when he was 1. I love it. Every time he goes for his doctor check ups we write in his height with a sharpe. Looks great. Going to purchase one for my daughter now!

Our friends loved this gift given to celebrate the birth of their first child. Wish these were around when we had our children. Kind of hard to take the door molding with the children's growth marks on it when you when you move!

I was hoping the chart would have looked a bit more wood like. I'm not sure how well the writing would have shown up on it too. Returned.

The look of it, great for preteens and teens not a baby look

Great product, well constructed, a very nice way to keep track of your growing child...and you can take it with you wherever you move.The only challenge we had was finding a marker that could be seen when writing on the darker wood. A silver sharpie seems to do the trick.
