All jokes aside, this curtain rod is what I was looking for at a reasonable price. The rod itself feels like it has reasonable weight to it, and the brackets were of the standard variety. I used all four brackets to support it, as I have it extended to about 140 inches. It appears to be holding up well, and I expect that it will hold heavy drapes with relative ease.My box arrived fairly banged up and with chipped finials, showing what looked like white ceramic underneath. The packaging wasn't that great, but I'm not sure that it was necessarily Amazon's fault, since it was shipped in the manufacturer's box. The finials seemed weighty for their size (I have no idea what "good" finials are, I suppose). I thought they looked okay too, not sure that "real" finials (whatever those might be) would look any better up on the wall where you can't scrutinize it. I used a black sharpie to color in the white chipped areas, which then blended right in with the rest of the design.

When they say "resin", that's exactly what they mean. I missed that. The gold/bronze touches on the end knobs are not as pronounced as in the picture. That was disappointing. Still, they fit with my decor, and no one will be touching them.

Great look, great quality and really great value. This is exactly what we were looking for. The only down side was that my husband had to install bigger/stronger mollys to get it to stay in our wall. We are very happy with it and it looks great!

I like the look of this curtain rod, looks perfect in my living room. I did only put shear curtains on and only needed to use three of the four brackets.

Beautiful rods! The wide round rod makes the curtains hang beautifully and the ball is also beautiful! They scratch easily and will need touching up but Inwould buy them over and over again!

very nice rod. better than expected. I have it at 112" and have 2 sets of black out curtains on it and it holds them well. Nice looking and works well that is a win win

they were easy to hang and llok good with the black drapes...hav'nt put up middle support yet...
