So glad I got this. Very good quality and value. Heats up quicker than the 5 minutes stated. Very soft material. The heat settings and timer are very handy, great for using at night. It doesn't overheat. I haven't tried to wash it in the washing machine yet but so far I'm very pleased with it. It doesn't heat up evenly throughout the blanket but that doesn't really bother me.

my son bought this throw january last year ,for me , i hav problems keeping warm and even with heating on i was always cold .. . . . . .BUT ever since ive had this its a pure joy to just turn it on and instantly warm n cosy its been used ALMOST daily, been washed three times and is as good as new, will instantly replace when this one dies the death, what a GREAT product its made my life so much better.

Top quality feel to it and the heating controls work great. The timer also works a treat overall it’s great for snuggling up on the sofa and keeping warm. You can control the level of heat really well

As a long time owner of an electric blanket, I swear by them and have converted many owners who wouldn’t be with theirs now.This heated throw is ideal for my cosy loveseat and foot rest in my bay window, as I loose myself in a book or box set. I’ve been contemplating making the purchase, but made it after my devoted hot water bottle finally left me after I found a hole in it.The material of this throw is luxurious and so soft to touch. With the easily operating remote thermostatic control to hand.There are 6 heat settings and the option of 3 different timing settings to choose from (1/3/9 hours with a handy temperature table guide on the reverse of the remote control). I usually set it to the highest setting which is 6 and set the timer for 3 hours.Now at first I was deeply disappointed as when you first put the throw on and it fires up, it gets really quite nice and warm. After about 20 minutes it gets what I felt was Luke warm. I contemplated returning it but soon discovered that perhaps I was comparing apples and pears, by comparing it to my electric blanket on my bed which goes up to heating setting 9 which is really toasty hot.I’ve now been using it for the past few weeks now and have adjusted to it. I find that to lock in the heat a little bit more, I’ve taken to throwing a light blanket on top (I know I know, and totally agree that it kind of defeats the object!!!). But it works for me.ProsGood value for moneyNo need to keep topping up water bottlesCan be set up to 9 hours on a timer, if you want to use it to sleep over night.ConsIt could do with perhaps another higher temperature setting, at least 1 more.The lower temperature settings are slightly redundant as I only noticed any real heat at 5 & 6.Overall it’s a good but and well worth the money!!

The media could not be loaded. I love this throw .it heats up very quickly and the settings are so easy to operate .I bought another as part of my daughters Christmas and she thinks it’s wonderful as well .it’s worth every penny .the colours are great mine is a teal colour and fits in well with my teal couch . My daughters is a lovely soft grey that complements room .

I got this for my girlfriend. I also got one of these through my energy provider. Very warm. Turned it on heated within minutes. I love the timer function as I use it mor when I am In bed and don't want to turn on the heating. Gives you heat quick and stays warn for a while even after the blanket is off. It is really soft not too heavy and is fit for purpose. It is also easy to use.

I have now purchased two of these blankets and both have suffered from the same fault with the controller failing within a few months use. This time I asked the seller (Dreamland themselves) for a refund. They agreed they would if I sent a photo of the fault which I did. 12 days later they were still delaying a refund and I had to get Amazon involved. Amazon told them to refund the item immediately as the delay and continual addition of conditions to secure the refund was unacceptable. The seller still refused to refund immediately. I had to contact Amazon again and they filed the refund claim for me. Never have I ever had such a bad experience with a seller. Considering they are the manufacturer of the product I thought I’d get a high level of customer support. This is easily the worst experience I’ve ever had with a seller on Amazon and I’ve been using Amazon for about a decade. I will not be purchasing from this seller ever again. A great alternative to this blanket is the one by MONHOUSE. It’s bigger and gets hotter and is also softer. Go for that instead. The hassle of buying from this seller is not worth it!!!

Once you get one of these there’s no going back.This is the second one (of 3) I’ve bought after giving them to family members.So cosy and great for winter.There is a fluffy faux fur version of this which is suuuuper soft, but if you want one to keep on top of your duvet choose this one (pink skinny original type) as it won’t slide off during the night where the fluffy one does :)Love that this brands one has a 9 hour setting where lots of others don’t/only go up to 3.
