Nice set - great value! Not quite as heavy as I would like to see - especially the gloves. Overkill for BBQ, great for grinding (I did a bunch already) but I have my doubts about welding. Time will tell. I am also concerned about the longevity of the straps and buckles. If this set holds up I will add another star to the review. Certainly cant get anything close for the price.

ALthough I really like this even though a very simple product. I purchased for help with welding. First the clip broke on the apron around the neck. Also the gloves, although one of my favorites to use since very pliable, are wearing out without too much use. I do use them from grinding, cleaning metal and welding. Also the inside lining is already starting to come apart. If they would last longer would have more stars but I do really like the feel.

Great quality, not exactly what I was looking for in a blacksmithing apron. But it works great for that purpose. It definitely is more for a grilling/cooking apron. The extras that come with are very nice also, the gloves are perfect for welding. I sure they would work well for grilling also. If you are a bigger guy the was it strap was on the tight side for me. About a 40" waist on me. Other then that it is a great product.

I like the heavy leather that the apron is made from. I prefer metal buckles and leather straps to the plastic and nylon, but overall, I'd say it's a very good value for the price

I bought this apron although I didn't really need the gloves for my fiancé for Father's Day. He is a tattooer and needed something to cover him so he wouldn't get ink all over his pants. My dad said he would use the gloves. They both love them! Awesome quality and will be used so much.

This is a really well made product, and the price was great. I bought it for forging, but used it for the grill the other night. Looks great, and I was able to move the coals around the barbeque with my tongs, not even hot around my fore arms.

Great product for either the beginner blacksmith or BBQ. I am using this leather apron for blacksmithing and is working out very good for me. I would recommend this for anyone who wanted a good quality product. Is a great combo.

One use grinding steel.The stitching has melted.Cook in it all you want and I'm sure it will work.Grind steel or weld in it?Better have a fire extinguisher close at hand because your going to be on fire.
