I even use to to measure the risen dough for splitting in to equal parts. Now that I have this scale all my breads, rolls, and pizza dough turn out perfect. I like how easy it is to use. I really like the knob feature instead of flat buttons. All you have to do is place your bowl on it, press the button and you can tare it out. It's a perfect size for home baking, light weight, and the value to dollar makes it worth it. I highly recommend having this in your kitchen to get proper measurements. I have several sets of measuring cups and spoons, it's amazing how far off they are. With this KitchenAid you get accurate measurements from a reputable brand. **Q: Can this measure 2.4 grams**
A: yes, technically, as long as you use the small platform and your vessel you measure into isn't so heavy as to max out the small platform weight limit. Although my experience with this scale is that it was cheaply made and inconsistent in it's accuracy

**Q: I know this scale comes already calibrated, but can it be manually recalibrated in case it loses calibration?**
A: The smaller scale can be calibrated with a 500gram weight by holding down the lb/gram button until it reads “CAL”. I have not figured out a way to calibrate the larger scale unfortunately. There is no mention of this in the instructions.

**Q: Can it be changed in Grams and ml?**
A: The ml unit on a scale assumes the liquid being measured is water. 1 ml of water weighs 1 gram, so a ml measure is redundant.

**Q: Can you recalibrate the scale?**
A: I am not sure what you mean by "recalibrate." It will give you the weight in pounds or grams. You can put an empty vessel on it and then turn the scale on and it will zero out the weight of the vessel.
