It is far more durable than what I was used to with these style tongs and it is long enough that I don't have to get my hands near the heat of the grill when flipping steaks or burgers. I didn't expect to use the smallest tong as much but it is incredibly handy for getting pickles or peppers out of jars and for flipping tortillas on the stove. The middle two sizes are great for salads and countless other uses. I wouldn't buy any less than four because I hate it when 2 or 3 are dirty and in the dishwasher and I don't have a spare to use when I want to. These things don't seem they'll ever wear out either.The product was accurately described and quickly delivered. Easily worth the price they're listed here at. Was I surprised. I was just looking for something functional and was not expecting such a high quality and absolutely beautiful set of serving utensils. These tongs would suit a formal banquet or a Sunday picnic. The small ones are perfect for a relish tray or for serving deviled eggs. The larger ones can be used for tossing salads and are very comfortable to use - they wont strain your wrist like some tongs. I have not had a chance to use the biggest ones yet but they are going to be perfect for the grill and I think they could also be used for larger salads. The quality was the most surprising aspect. The spring mechanism and the hinge are rock solid - not even the smallest item will wiggle free of this grip. Not only do we love these for ourselves, we found a perfect gift for friends and family.
