Excellent product

I bought this based on the positive reviews (and because it came in blue) and have been really pleased with the purchase.The bottle has a nice high-quality feel to it. You can pour boiling to near boiling water into it with no problems. It has never leaked, though I do tip it upside down once to get rid of a few drops that did not make it all the way into the bottle.The cap seals very tight, with a sturdy feel. I do wish the cap "wings" would be flat when the cap was twisted tight - the cap "wings" or paddle edge on my bottle does not lie flat with the bottle tightly sealed, and it makes me worry a little that if there was pressure (like a foot lying on top of it), then the pressure down could press the cap down and loosen the seal. It has not happened yet, though.This has been a wonderful way to pamper my partner just a little bit more. We keep the house at 60 degrees, so it is nice to be able heat up his side of the bed so he does not have to get into a cold bed. I borrow it later to keep my otherwise icy-cold toes warm.The bottle stays warm all night, and there are still vestiges of heat to it in the morning. Filled with boiling water, it is almost too hot to touch when you first put it into the bed, so I move it around a couple of times to warm up a larger area.This is not the least expensive water bottle available, but I love the quality, and it has been worth the $25 to have a little bit of extra comfort on cold nights.I am tempted to take it out for a night or two backpacking to see if it might be worth its weight on chilly nights.

I purchased 3 of these water bottles for a camping trip in the Rocky Mountains. I put piping hot water in them and placed them in our sleeping bags about 30 minutes before we turned in at night and it worked out great. It was around 40 degrees overnight. My kids ended up removing them, in fact, because they felt too warm! They are little tykes and can't reach the end of the sleeping bag where the fashy was but it did a fantastic job warming up the sleeping bags.The quality is great. My grandma always told me how she used a rubber water bottle as a child in Wales, but I had never tried one until the fashy. Didn't leak, held heat very well. I am here ordering more for my friends who are going tent camping in Alaska in September!:::::UPDATE::::::I use my Fashy almost every night. I like my bedroom cooler at night but I like to be toasty warm and this does the trick. Several of my friends and family members have purchased a Fashy since seeing mine. Sometimes the simpliest, old fashioned things are the best. With winter just around the corner, I feel confident that even if the power goes out, I will be able to heat water on my portable gas stove and put it in our fashy's and keep warm overnight. I highly recommend one for everyone.

Why should you pay more for this product????: One, its funnel and hole are 3 x's larger than that of the average red drugstore hot water bottle usually made in China. Its also 3 x's thicker. Due to these features, I can fill it more easily and much faster without spilling out the water. Two, this one comes (included) a the plastic hanging hook (not all Fashy's come with a hock) which makes filling it a breeze. I hang it on a drawer knob/pull and now have two hands to fill it with. Three, the bottle keeps very hot for at least 12 hours --I do have a cozy cover on mine. The instructions say Do Not Place Boiling Water Inside, however, I regularly pour in water that is around 200 degrees if its a really cold night if not then I quickly fill it up straight from the kitchen faucet with any splashing. I purchased this specifically to sleep with it at the foot of the bed in the winter.UPDATE:I've now been using this for over a year and am back on Amazon buying another Fashy Hot Water Bottle for my husband because his cheap red rubber china made one busted all over the entire bed last night at 4am. What a mess. Fashys are the best so now he will have a quality one as well. I have attached photos showing the difference in Cheap Ones and Fashy Ones. Notice how the Blue Fashy does NOT lie flat when empty like the cheap Red one. Also, notice how much larger the opening is for the Fashy vs the Cheap Chinese Made one. Lastly, notice the huge hole that busted water all over the bed. This is the second cheap one that has busted at the foot of the bed. First, mine busted last year and then this year my husband's busted. I suggest only replacing with Fashy.

After last winter, I needed to figure out more creative ways to keep warm in the house. After several fruitless searches at grocery stores, drug stores, and every thing in between, I was shocked to discover not a single store carried a basic hot water bottle, but instead had heating blankets. I'm much more interested in finding solutions that get around electricity, and heating blankets just meant more money out the window to feed the utility bill, and more risk of fire hazard. It seemed like there was a conspiracy afoot to hide all the hot water bottles in existence, until I found this one. I immediately got two of them. The weather only recently turned chilly and I couldn't be happier. I wonder what the heck I did with my life before these, because I've spent most of it shivering through winters in drafty rooms. I keep one at the foot of the bed and the other at belly level. The radiant heat keeps warm for hours and there's few things I'm so thankful for as this. If you're like me and looking for winter solutions to your heating problems, get on these puppies, you won't be disappointed.

I make sure we have a good supply if fashy waterbottles in the house and they dont stink of rubber either so thats a bonus.

Ich habe diese Wärmflasche Anfang Dezember gekauft und seit Gestern tropft es schon an der unteren Naht. Bin entäuscht da das Material und die Struktur mir sehr gut gefallen hatte und gute Qualität schienen. Würde also nicht empfehlen zu kaufen.
