Returned the first filter, the out thread kept wanting to cross thread,the second one no issues worked great đź‘Ť

Leaks
I have a 2000 4Runner 3.4 and sure enough this filter leaks. Also the ends are shorter than the factory one so the bigger washers are useless as it doesn’t screw all the way to where the bolt thing on the line meets the filter housing. I tried 5 times taking it on and off. Made sure the lines were straight, tried using those pointless little washers that it came with. Even put my own O ring washers and tightened it as tight as it could go and it still leaks. Don’t buy. And after seeing all these reviews with a leak issue, why are you even selling these things anymore.
