Power Bank with a Difference
There are hundreds of power banks out there. What makes this one different? What is unique and very useful is that in addition to the two 5V USB outputs, it also has a third power output that can produce anything from 5 V to 12V in half volt increments. This makes it very useful for powering or charging your many non-USB devices.I use it to power small electronics projects, usually Arduino or PICAXE circuits, when I don’t care to pull out my main desktop power supply. Or how about this with a solar panel in your bug-out bag, to be your universal charger and power supply. It appears fairly robust too. While installing batteries I was distracted by a phone call and inserted the last battery backwards. I yanked it out only after the battery terminal was glowing red hot. The electronics weren’t harmed.Comes with a micro USB cable and a coax DC cable. Supports up to 5 unprotected 18650 batteries. Also has an LED flashlight feature. It has an auto-off feature that turns off the unit after charging, which is defined as drawing less than 150mA. Be sure to disable this feature when powering low current devices. The only negative is the user interface. One button controls everything through long or short or multiple presses. I’d pay a few bucks extra for a few extra buttons. Best not to loose the instructions. Knocked off one star for that.I have several power banks but this is the one that gets all the use. Recommended.

After a week of use; it's perfect!
After a week of use i have to agree with other reviewers that the battery cover was extremely hard to remove (took 1 star because of that). But,i found an easier way to remove the battery cover; get yourself a (flat head screw driver) and carefully pry open the cover tabs that are under the white arrows then, after a couple of tries you will get it off. OK,that's enough of the battery cover. Now the charger itself, to be honest it's the best i love how the display shows how much battery life percentage i have and how much amps my phone is using via the USB ports. I also, like the LED flashlight it's relatively bright compare to my 6 year old flashlight (light bulb). I like dc output port and i can change the voltage +.5 or -.5 volts (up or dp);using a dc computer fan i can regulate the fan to spin faster or slower do to the voltage regulator (or whatever dc device u have). FINALLY, the battery portion; i bought these batteries SunLabz® 18650 3.7V Rechargeable (4-Pack) Flat Top Battery Cells 3400mAh due to high reviews and high capacity of 3,400 mah. So,in total 3400 * 4(pack) = 13,600 mah roughly, from 0% to 100% it took about 7 hours and 20 mins to charge this beast via the built-in microUSB at what the display showed at 2.1 amps.I forgot to mention my cell phone battery capacity is 2,000 mah so i can re-charge my cellphone from 0 to 100 % about 6.8 times with this powerful charger. Forgot to mention i really love the soft plastic shell. ALL IN ALL, i really like this charger and i highly recommend it to anyone!

Undecided
Very hard to open to put batteries in. Instructions are totally in Chinese. It is difficult to learn how to operate it with no instructions. The first time I plugged it into my phone charger the micro USB B port melted. If the instructions came with English and you could open it to put batteries in it and the court didn't melt the first time I plugged it into my phone charger. would like the device. It is a good idea for a device maybe I just got one with a faulty input port. I see on the web now there is a way to open the batteries compartment. Someone did a video showing how to get it open. Without that it's almost impossible to open it to put batteries in

An excellent 12V Powerbank
An excellent 12V Powerbank. It also has two USB sockets, which you can use if you are prepared to read the tiny manual which came with my unit (in English). But I have plenty of 5V USB powerbanks, this was purchased for running 12V equipment (a 10MHz GPS Disciplined oscillator). The menus are not instinctive, although not too bad once you get used to them. Reading the manual really helps...

Cool Unit
As others have said, it is hard to open, but you can see why. If you press on the arrows, you really are not depressing the tangs to open it. Once I moved over a bit, it does open much easier. I love the DC out jack, and the ability to set any voltage, will be using it on an A6000 for star photos, it will hook right up to a Sony battery adapter with the included cord.

GREAT Bargin but a few things you should know.
There are several great things about this item.PROS:1. The cost! Even though it does NOT come with any internal batteries, the case is still worth the money. It's made of plastic but it has a smooth, rubber exterior that is design to offer a bit of protection.2. You can connect a USB device to it AND you can also use it to power DC powered devices. I purchased this to use with my Zoom H4n, which is a video production audio field recorder. My H4n only uses a 5V power adapter, so this unit having the ability to adjust the power output as low as 5V for DC devices was perfect!3. The LED display allows you to see how much remaining battery power there is and what voltage output is selected.4. It has an LED Flashlight on the front.CONS:1. The battery plate is REALLY hard to remove! I read another review that said the same thing. They were correct! It's supposed so slide off but I've found myself being forced to carefully lift the sides of the battery plate, all the way around until it pops off. This is NOT how you are supposed to removed the battery plate, but it doesn't seem to come of any other way.2. While it will allow you connect various DC powered devices to it, it did not come with any adapters that would allow it to plug a DC powered device into it. I had to purchase adapter tips.

Great back up power supply.
Simple unit without directions. However, can set it to auto shut off or stay on depending on what you are powering. The USB port is off when any voltage other then 5 volt is selected.

Lacks proper charging circuit to allow it to charge my iPhone 6s, iPad2, iPad, iPhone 5s, or any other apple product I own.
