Bean Flour(moin-moin) Ready 2lbs

I'm sorry to leave a negative review on someone's business, but this product is just too bad and I wish I had known this before I spent my money. I have purchased this 2xs and I'm very disappointed. I've made at least 5 batches using this flour and consistency is always an issue. The instructions on the package say soak 1 cup of flour with 4 cups of water. If you do that, your moimoi will come out too watery. Like the consistency of baby's vomit after drinking milk. If you do a 1 to 2 ratio, its a lot better, but I've found 1 to 1.75 works best. However, no matter how long you soak this before you make the moimoi, the consistency is never right. The bottom of the moimoi is always harder (settling of the flour) and the top is always light and fluffy. I even blend in a blender to try to combat this and it's always the same.Also because they didn't peel the beans before converting to flour, all the black particles settle at the bottom of the moi moi and looks too awful to eat. Particularly if you are serving guests or picky eaters. I've ended up throwing a lot of this moimoi out because of consistency and black particles at the bottom of the moimoi, thus wasting my money, time and ingredients.As much as I hate washing beans, nothing substitutes the age old process of making moimoi with washed beans. Pls beware if you are thinking of taking the easy way out with this product.

What I received was already bad.. And there is no way this gives you the real moin-moin feel. It taste sour..
