So much better than anything yuri happening in anime these days!
Wonderful game! I like how the romance between Arnice and Lilly is handled. It's so much better than anything yuri happening in anime these days. Yes there are huge boobs, but it's not about the boobs. I can't even say it's distracting... though proportional boobs are always the best. The gameplay is standard JRPG plus monster summoning. The soundtrack is beautiful. Overall this is very worth getting, especially at the ungodly low price it's going for right now.Note: This isn't the first time I've received a NEW PS4 game from amazon directly that had the disk LOOSE in the case. I don't know how this happens. If anyone knows about this being a common thing I'd like to know more. But my disk was luckily functional so no complaints.

Great seller. The gameplay is very fun
Great seller. The gameplay is very fun. You control the main character and the ai controls a monster team for you. It's much like Pokemon or Jade Cocoon would be if you could have a party of 4 in an action rpg experience. Difficulty will depend on how well you choose your team. Not cruel in missable quests, you can grind anywhere any time once you unlock it. Home base is sort of RNG in conversations you can have with the monsters each time you come back. The story is very Japanese and super weird. It's a doomsday lesbian love story. The game isn't dirty about it (simply weird). I dislike such elements as gimmicks or hooks but I bought this blind and enjoyed it on the gameplay alone and even liked the story. Going in blind and giving yourself a chance to enjoy it yourself is the best way. If you like jrpgs or arpgs you should pick this up at $10-20 for sure.

... give it 4 stars because its not the most amazing game ive played but the art direction of this ...
I was gonna give it 4 stars because its not the most amazing game ive played but the art direction of this game is SO AMAZING that it deserves 5 stars just for the art alone! So far im liking this game a lot, i find it a little bit too easy but its enjoyable and the concept of using summons called Servans to help in battle is pretty cool. Keep in mind this isnt turn based, its a real time jrpg with a little micro managing your servans. very fun and the characters are APPEALING ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Looking at you Lilysse-sama

Cute game, Slight idenity crisis
So this games not amazing, but it is strangely addictive. It uses the timed level grind system that games like monster hunter uses giving you 15 minutes per round to hunt, explore, complete side missions, and the main quest. All the while collecting items, and new monsters fight along with you.Is the story interesting... well that's a hard one. it balances on the edge of being "cute" and avoiding actually being a yuri game that it ends up not having any fulfilling dialogs or substance. I mean the main maiden that your protecting works in a coffee shop at the hotel and that's her big character arch since she has to convince everyone that its ok for her to take care of herself... or is it really so the dev could put her in a maid oufit.Good:Grind Happy gamePretty (I like cellshaded games)Different monster layouts actually change the powers attacks and visual appeal.Funny side stories like one about a cupcake that is always horrible.Monsters- i like the each has a distinct personality and you can talk to them at the hotel. Though most says the same thing over and over.Fan service - minimal but present in odd places.Blah:Story - It never gets much more interesting then monster huntingWeapons - all look different but don't change the play style in any meaningful way. So i chose the best looking ones.Frame Rate - for the type of game it's not bad, but expect slow down when there's a good few things going on.Bad:Most side missions are as boring as they come, and often i didn't even realize i completed them until i got back tot he hotel. Many sight seeing one, that are for places you've already visited. Expect a lot of the same same. The most interesting one are the day missions but they are done through text blurbs and easily forgotten. So i might be biased... like really biased. I like anime based games, i like the style and i tend to enjoy the dumb repetition. Which means i give this game a pass for things that I'd normally despise in more western AAA titles. Now is it a horrible game, in no means, is it simply terrible? No. Is it an interesting game that i want to know everything about like the Witcher games... no. Do I enjoy going around collecting random things in the hope of getting a newer better monster? Yes. Do i enjoy the story enough to use it as my vehicle to keep play? Yes. Is the fan service nice but not over the top? Yes.

A Gust hack n slash
Currently about 5 hours in, I haven't been too invested in the story, but Gust (well known for their Atelier series) have done a very good job with this brand new title. There's many options to play around with, like customizing summons (servans) levelling them up, changing their equipment and creating your own deck with a set of 4 of them ready for the next battle. As for the main character, Arnice, she also levels up, along with unlocking new skills and weapons via the stat allocation system, along with swapping her accessories as well. There are a few surprises up this game's sleeve in which I'd suggest just saving for yourself. There's a very comfy hub in which you'll be spending time there to buy and sell things, watch events, and maybe fight in the arena offering unique challenges. The over world is similar to Atelier, where you will be given a big map to select your next location to visit, whether it's to complete a side quest or progress in the main story. The combat in Nights of Azure is VERY similar to that of Drakengard (with a good framerate) with a hint of Sony's PlayStation 3 exclusive Folklore. Now for the performance. Nights of Azure on PS4 runs like a dream, if I'm not mistaken, it's 60 fps, the load times are very quick and the controls are responsive. I haven't noticed much pop in graphics or errors, do keep in mind that this is a title on a budget. But Gust have done very well, as a fan of their other games, it made me very happy to see them try something new and it worked out pretty damn great

Interesting game with unique stroryline
This game was on my radar before it was even announced to the West. I'm a huge fan of ARPGs and this one didn't deceived me. The story is immersive and unlike I've seen in any other recent games. The characters are well designed, unique and loveable. Althought the combat is rather simplistic the customization with different weapons, skills and the Servant you can recruit really helps to make this flaw smaller and almost non-existent. Definately one of the better Gust games has ever made recently.
