**Q: Is this fanless?**
A: Yes, the TL-SG108E is fanless.

**Q: Does this unit have noticeable electricity wine? I am sensitive to high frequency sounds. The switch will be in arm's distance.**
A: I have the unit within arm's distance as well with no sound whatsoever, but I can't recommend it as it has been a touchy with reconnection after power outages. Doing some research, I found I wasn't the only person that had this issue.
