Bought this kettle as a gift for my girlfriend, and we both love it. As with all Le Creuset products the build quality is great and the finish is absolutely stunning. Handle and spout cover/whistle feel amazing in-hand. Definitely built to last.Only complaint is that the sticker on the bottom left some adhesive residue that never came off, even after multiple cleanings before the first use. This led to a discolored square on the bottom of the kettle. Obviously not a huge deal, since you're not often looking at the bottom, but still a bit of a disappointment given how nice the finish is.

This kettle is perfect and looks great in my kitchen. The whistle sound is a bit odd but it does the job!

Beautiful kettle, but rust started to appear inside the kettle after some. months of usage. Very disappointed.

I shopped for quite a while to make a purchase decision, and now that I have this little teapot I am very glad that I decided to invest my money in a quality purchase of the Le Creuset Enamel On Steel Demi Tea Kettle, 1.25 qt., Oyster color (glossy gray ombre). This color looks very nice with my stainless steel gas stove and other stainless steel kitchen appliances and hard anodized cook wear. It is very easy to hold and pour, heats up quickly, and it's perfect for one or two cups of hot water for herb tea, cup of soup, or hot chocolate. Perfect little teapot! Quality construction! Good investment for my money!

This is the second Le Creuset kettle I've bought. It is the smaller 1.1 litre which is the right size the 1.6 litre being a little larger than I need. Love it! Very attractive with the colour gradation. Adds some zip to your kitchen, and character, that is missing in the electric variety. They are kind of expensive, but they last long enough to be worth it. Great gift idea for stovetops that can accommodate a kettle and free up counter space.
