While I do like the cleaning aspect of the Hex laundry product I find the cost of the product to be excessive.I find that one Hex pod is suitable for small loads but “my normal” load while not large, does require 2 pods for proper cleaning. I live in Canada and the cost of Hex (from Amazon) works out to be $1.65 Cdn per pod or $3.30 Cdn per load. So while I like the quality of the product I find the price excessive and will be switching to a different product in the future.

This detergent is unscented and gets out the toughest smells! It works better than oxi clean or bleach or anything! I use these pods to deep clean everything. Removes the toughest smells such as baby accidents, toddler accidents, vomit, dog accidents, polyester smell, towel mildew, perfume smell, smoke, and more. I even use this on carpet if my pet has an accident. I love that this is unscented - and you know even more than it is really eliminating them smell since it is clean! Unscented is perfect for those with babies or allergies or asthma.Update: New bottle design is difficult. You can’t fill the caps. Hope they bring back old bottle design or the packs.

It does a decent job for what it is designed to do. Honestly, there are some running shirts I have that will never smell good again. Hex helps this issue initially. Now, instead of stinking from the first drops of sweat, it usually takes a mile or so. I’ve actually found it works best with towels and even regular clothes, though I use it sparingly due to the price tag. Overall, a decent solution to an insolvable issue.

The was my 1st time using HEX and I’m not disappointed! My daughter’s workout clothes STINK! I usually have to soak them in baking soda and water to get the odor out. She had ran a load of laundry and left it in the washer for 48 hrs. when I opened up the washer door the smell about knocked me over. I decided to rewatch the load but this time I used a HEX pod. It got out ALL the nasty odor! I’m a believer this stuff is GREAT!!

Went on a 5 night backpacking trip wearing the Same clothes everyday. Sat around a campfire as well. A friend recommended trying this stuff as a way to really get the stink out for all our tech style clothes. It didn’t work that great...didn’t get a stain out and we could still smell campfire on the clothes. Pricey and doesn’t work that great. I don’t think I would buy it again, but I’ll try it with a stinky shirt that I’ve work for just one day first. Maybe it’s better for 1-day old clothes, not 5.
