I am looking for a good blade for ripping cabinet fillers, etc.** A: It depends on what the cabinets are made out of. If they're solid wood, yes absolutely this blade will do great, it leaves almost sanded smooth edges if your saw is setup right. If its plywood, or particle board, or mdf, I'd use a diablo blade meant for that kind of wood like the freud d1090x 90 tooth blade, that will leave sanded smooth edges on a plywood board, and wont tear up your veneer like the 50 tooth blade might. **Q: Why are the vents just printed on** A: The vents are actually through-cut, then filled with a rubbery material. They really do work. These blades are far quieter than the stock blades that come on most saws. **Q: Are these really made in China?** A: From what I have read, the Diablo series is made in Italy but who knows what really goes on these days? I am happy with the blade and at the price it is a good value. Could they have been made in Italy at one time and then sourced/made in another country later on?
