Hoofjack Hoof Jack Stand Purple Medium

I put off getting one for years because of the price, but I wish I would have bought it a lot sooner. It's beautifully designed, my two horses accepted it immediately. The hoof cradle makes trimming so much easier, and the post is excellent for setting a hoof on more securely than the homemade stand we'd been using. Plus it's adjustable. We have a geriatric 14h horse and a young 15h horse, this size stand is perfect for them both, no need to get the bigger stand. The DVD that comes with it is well worth watching, the designer is a farrier who suffered an injury in a plane crash who out of necessity needed to take strain off his body while trimming and shoeing. He demonstrates the features and how to best use it with a horse who'd never seen a Hoofjack before. It's such less strain on the horses to have their legs under them than pulled out to the side between the legs of a farrier. Our horses were comfortable with the Hoofjack right away just like the demo horse in the video. Excellent product.

This is great quality and perfect for my 13.2hh mustang. I need to rasp her hooves often to fit her boots and this is sturdy enough that she feels very at ease as her hoof is on it. I'm very pleased. It is as presented and were are both very happy with it.

The product arrived in a clearly labeled purple box. However, upon opening it, there was a bright red model inside. I would have returned it if my horses weren’t in such desperate need of a trim. Oh well. I guess it’s a good thing I like red.

A must-have for all horse people trimming their own equine hooves. The size works great with my whole herd. The minis, up to the 15 hand horses!

Love, love my "short stand". Fits me well as well as a few of my shorter clients. Great for working on stiff old horses that have lost their flexibility.

The DVD that came with the roof Jack had some very good info too learn. My horse likes the hoof jack and so does my back.

Love it, just like my carrier's. I needed one to make it easier to doctor an injured horse and I plan to use it as a training aid for my young horses.

Got it for my older draft horse and it really helps.
