Headlamp is plenty bright, but it is HEAVY. I use it on Humanitarian Missions to 3rd world countries for intraoral use where there is no lightsource. The other issue is the batteries that are in the unit are non-conventional. This is a big negative and more of a reason why I wouldn't recommend this product...that and the fact that it is very heavy, especially if you are going to wear it for 8+ hours. I think that this is a strong lightsource, but with the weight and non-conventional batteries, I don't recommend it. It is great power for the price, though.

Used it twice, great product. However when I went to recharge it it flashed SOS mode and would not stop or turn off. Also wouldn’t recharge the batteries. This is after the second time of use and first time trying to charge! Found the back corner of a shelf for sometime before I decided to buy new batteries for it. Keep in mind each special kind of battery costs 13 bucks so I spent close to 30 bucks, for a headlamp which originally cost 16! Probably too late for a refund. Expensive headlamp for a one time use. Also saw other reviews with same issue, but beware.

Good quality with bright light. As I get older I find I need brighter task lighting when I work on my cars and other hobbies. This headlamp fulfills that need very well. The rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries last a long time on a charge and the headband is comfortable to wear for extended periods. Adjustment ability provides good utility.I would recommend this product.

Fantastic headlamp!!! I purchased two of these and so far they seem to be very well built. They are easy to use and the light is very very bright! Love the look and feel of these lights! This is my first rechargable system but so far it is a great feature! Thanks Teswell!!

This is a powerful and very bright LED with lots of battery life. And because of that power, it is pretty bulky. The main reason for the poor review is that it is locked into SOS mode, will not turn off, and gets very hot under normal use.UPDATETeswell shipped a replacement very quickly. The replacement unit functions properly at present so I am happy with this result.

The lamp is very bright as the product claims, but I did not like the overall size. It is fairly large and bulky with the lamp and battery pack. I ended up returning it when I realized that the light gets extremely hot even after a short use. Not ideal for camping when you want to take the lamp into your tent and then lay it next to you in case you need a light during the night. I burned myself a few times just handling the thing after I'd turned it off. I'll stick to the smaller form factor head lamps from now on.

Awesome for the price, includes rechargeable batteries. The usb cable is kind of proprietary so you cant use your own micro-usb cable if you lose the included charging cable. Red light in back of unit is so you can be seen at night from behind I presume, a good feature as far as I'm concerned. Very bright led light in front, awesome for running at night.

I love this head light. it comes with two 18650 batteries and there has not been any issue with charging with the included USB charging cord.
