LED String Lights 65.5 ft with 200 LEDs, Mxsaver Waterproof Decorative Lights for Bedroom, Patio, Parties, Wedding (Copper Wire Lights, Warm White)

I wanted to wrap our Maple tree with chain light for the holidays. I looked for LED wire light that was easy to wrap around tree branches, not too heavy since my tree is relatively small and DC current. I ended up ordering one unit of 65 ft. Mxsaver Fairy LED Copper Wire for the following reasons:1. Excellent price2. 8 W consumption power for 200 light3. Warm white color4. 12 Volt power safer than AC current5. Water proofDelivery was prompt thru Amazon Prime. Packaging excellent with quality small instruction manual. It had the wire wrapped onto itself and 12V standard 120V power adapter that's connects and disconnects from the wire easily. Wrapped it around the tree trunk. Working with the wire was very easy since I was able to bend and shape it to fit the branches. The small LED lights had that nice warm color to them and looked perfect. So I ordered 4 more wires and installed them. Quality was consistent in all. The only draw back is the wire is easily gets tangled. Unwrap the outside end as you spread out, I ended wrapping it as a ball prior to spreading it on the tree. The wire string lights can not be connected to each other. Each wire has to be plugged into separate power outlet. However in my case I did not need to connect them directly to 120V power instead for each unit I cut out the 12V power adapter, connect it to Paradise GL22352 Clip Connector and clipped it to the 12V power main line supplied by the garden Power Pack Low Voltage Landscape Lighting unit. The only issue I can not comment on now is durability of lights outside. However I am planning for an update next year since I am leaving the lights permanently on the tree.12/10/2015: Photo of the tree I used 5 chainsAs promised followup on 28 Nov 2016: One year later lights were kept on the tree through winter to date under the effect of snow etc.. Connected power to the chains and to my delight all went on. The first photo is after initial installation, and second photo is now after one year impressive.

Awesome lights, horrid directions. OK, so whether it's one string or several hooked together, the very final last tip has to have the 'end connector' on it in order to complete ther circuit - otherwise none of the lights work and you'll think you're doing something wrong. Believe it or not, that little fact is not clear in the instructions. Another helpful note on instructions, there is a piece in the kit they call a 'splitter' in the instructions... it goes in beteen only the power adapter and ther first of a string of one strand, or before the frist string on sets connected together - that's what makes the remote work. You need that, if you connect the lights direct to power source all you get is flashing. With the remote adapter installed in-line, you can turn it off flash on on-steady, dimmable.So the instructions sucked in why it didn't get 5 stars - but that's it, I have three sets that cover entire circumfrence of the lawn . One bonus fact - keeping these around a perimeter keeps bugs away. The copper wire is gorgeous and the dammable component really allows you total control of the ambiance.

I have never used this type of light before so I was nervous that they wouldn't have any impact on our back deck. I thought only a rope light would look right. But I have to say I was very surprised at how nice it came out. I used mounting putty made for the outdoors which was super convenient and far easier than the clips I would have had to use for the rope light. I used the 65 feet to attach it going around the deck twice from one outlet just putting a pinch of putty on the railing and squishing the thin copper string into it. I plugged it in a month ago and just left it on to see how long it would last and it is still going strong. Yay!

One Great amount of light--when they work--work great. They come very tangled and it is a lot of work to unwind. The little bulbs act like hooks and may be the issue. Once I got one on the gate--it worked great --took 3 hours to get it there though. The second strand was obviously returned it had been taped back together in one place and completely severed in another. I've returned that strand. They should sell these one strand at a time not a double pack. Smart Shopper TIP: Check both strances immediately to confirm they are intact and work before you put them where ever you plan to--that way you can return them easily if you find they are damaged..

Loved these. Spent a lot of time putting them up just right on our back patio. A large section of them just went out. We've had them on for maybe a couple hours for 3 evenings. Very disappointed!Update:They sent me another package for fre which was super awesome. We put them up right over top of the first set. And within a month of sporadic use both sets had completely gone out. :(. I had such high hopes because they were so pretty!
