Replace every 2,000 gallons (7571 liters) or 9 months to ensure clean safe drinking water. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter are not necessarily in all users water

**Q: Where do you install this filter?**
A: Open the ice machine door . Tap on the upper plastic panel to open. The filter is located in the upper right corner. Use the plastic handle included with the filter to remove the old filter and replace the new one.

**Q: Why does the description list "lead" as the material? The material is supposed to be what the product is made of. Someone needs to check this.**
A: Good question. I dumped Whirlpool and purchased a Hoshizaki machine.

**Q: Is everydrop ice 2 compatible with a kenmore 106.8958 ice machine?**
A: I doubt if anyone knows or is willing to tell.
