I love this android box. I originally had an Amazon Firestick with kodi on it and it was okay. Just hated having to go through settings all the time just to get to kodi. So I decided to get this box & to me kodi on these is a lot better. Love how kodi is right on the main screen when you start it up. Plus I know how to add/install my own repository's on kodi so I added my favorite ones after receiving this. I don't have remote issues like some ppl have said. Maybe they aren't using it right? Who knows. Mine works pretty damn fine. Thank you. '

I paid less that $30 for it using the warehouse deals and for that price I like the performance. The systems is quite quick and plays whatever you throw at it through the pre-installed Kodi application.The Google play store is easily accessible and not replaces by any 3rd arty app, updates come automatically, and the launcher is not too bad. With 720p and 1080p videos I encountered absolutely no problems at all, they play very smooth and in good quality. I have had some issues playing 4K due to the bandwidth restrictions of the built-in WiFi and Ethernet. It played 4K videos acceptably from a micro SD card I had sitting around but this was an old, slow card.Streaming 4K video over the built-in WiFi is impossible, it's much too slow. The 100MBit Ethernet connection barely works, so investing into a fast micro SD cart to cache any 4K video files is a must. Not surprising but bothersome is also the missing HDCP 2.2, so streaming 4K from Amazon or Netflix is a problem.A minor setback is the included remote control. Even with just the pre-installed and advertised software already on the device, some notifications and windows are not accessible with the remote. It is also impossible to regulate volume with the remote alone, you need to invest into a wireless mouse or keyboard.

Just set it up this weekend and I've been delighted so far. I have Amazon FireTV on my main TV and wanted to add an XBMC box to the other room. This was less than half the price and does many of the same things (apart from Amazon content, obvs). Build is very solid, Packaging is great.Includes an HDMI cable but no AAA batteries for the remote (you are warned).Unit has loads of USB and other ports so very flexible.Remote seems of good quality but easily recognized and programmed into my Logitech remote, so won't see too much of it anymore (I hope).For someone just getting started in the world of cord-cutting/Kodi/XBMC this seems (so far) like an excellent option - PS make sure to pick up the bundled mini-keyboard. It makes set up a lot easier.

this is my first android tv... a few issues ive had with it...1. the remote is broken. i cannot program it to operate my tv power....2. it will not work with "android tv remote", which most android tv boxes will.3. the stock home screen is terrible. the available settings are terrible as well. its almost a requirement to install a different home launcher.these are the reasons this is getting 2 stars... the following are simply features that i wish it had... aka.. if i had to buy again....1. it is NOT rooted. rooted would add a lot of options which would be nice to have.2. it is slow. i get a lot of lag when navigating. once im watching something, it is fine, but it could really use some more speed for navigating around the home screen and menus.3. bluetooth. it would be really nice to have bluetooth built in.

I recently decided to buy another box a different version and came upon this box ... so far this was the box that was the total package and best overall performance ..I bought it tested it out and it works like a charm .. one thing is that when I received the Box it had the old version of Kodi and in their description it said it had the latest version of Kodi it wasn't a killer since I know how to update it so it only took me 5 minutes to update it and have all the add-ons if it would have came preinstalled with the newest Add ons I would have gave it 5 stars but since it didn't I give it four but again that doesn't take away from the great performance that this little box has well worth the money

Folks i read reviews 100% of the time and i base my purchase around experience of others. i say this because this seller delivered a quality product that basically is a plug and play! Im shocked this box is so much less than competitors yet no short coming on features. This box is super small and can do it all. it took me less than 10 minutes to unpack, physically connet to tv and online. the user interface is different than my other box and it just as effective. i plan on purchasing more to give away as gifts and i will not buy from a different seller. dont hestitate...simple buy then enjoy!

Not to shabby for the price. Kodi runs pretty well on the box but it struggles a little if there a multiple apps running at the same time. Pros - easy setup, quick response with one app running, low price. Cons - only 2.4 GHz wifi, can't handle multiple apps well, remote is pretty basic. If you're looking for an inexpensive android tv box just for kodi, I would recommend this device.
