A very nice shower rod at a great price. It did give me extra elbow room so now I don't hit the curtain with my elbows when taking a shower, which irritated me. Installation is pretty easy and straightforward for those who know how to hold a drill and a screwdriver. It is not/not a tension rod, but I never expected it to be. When installed, it holds the curtain well and doesn't bend but it is still feels a little flimsy so I would not be too hard on the curtain. Overall, it's a great product and I'm happy with it.

it clearly says it is a Tension shower rod, which i understood to mean "held up by tension" rather than "held up by screws". it is held up by screws. i have a tile bathroom. WELP.

It's starting to rust. So apparently, it's not "STAINLESS" steel since it is stained. With RUST.

This shower curtain rod appears to be very sturdy. I do wish it had a bit of a deeper curve, as it cuts off a few inches of tub space. Besides that, I like how tough it appears to be. The rod is solid and quite a bit heavier than I expected. It was easy to install with the hardware provided and easily handles the weight of my more ornate rings and curtain.After days of multiple showers, it still keeps its finish, with no darkening or discoloration. This is good because it matches the finish of my current bath accessories, and sometimes I find that they can dull or darken. I'm not having any such problem, though, so it's a win.I received a discount on this shower curtain rod in exchange for my evaluation and unbiased review. Any opinion I've expressed is purely mine and based on my own personal experience using this rod.

If you've never tried a curved rod in your shower, your missing out on some exclusive real estate. This bar was easy to install, aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and functions flawlessly. A definite recommend

This is a very nice shower rod! I was expecting this to be a tension rod since thats what is in the headline, but it is most definitely NOT a tension rod. I would give it another star if it was an actual tension rod. So don't be fooled like I was. We bought this to put up in our bathroom since we can't screw anything into the tiles, but since its not a tension mounted rod, we ended up getting a different one and giving this one to my mother in law. She was more than happy with it. It was easy to install, comes with all of the required screws and anchors, and it looks really nice when its up. My mother in law says shes thrilled with how much more elbow room it gives her and she loves it, so at least she is happy.I will say, this is not the most luxurious rod I've ever seen. Its actually closer in style to what you would see at a decent hotel. Very simple and easy to clean, but sturdy. Its a great rod for the price (currently just shy of $30) and I would expect to easily pay that much if I had bought this in a retail store.**I did receive this item at a reduced cost in exchange for my honest and unbiased review, but my cost has no bearing on what I rate a product.**

I didn't have to install this but it looks great.
