It’s a interesting start to the Akame series and unique start to it. There’s still the dark tones of the original and interesting new characters.

Our son has been really interested in this Akame ga KILL! series, which says a lot, because he HATES reading. He can finish a book in about 6 hours. We will continue to buy this series from Amazon as well. It's much more cost effective than purchasing in one of the larger book stores, and the free Amazon Prime shipping makes it even better. Great action manga, very bloody and sadistic but good story

Great start really love this volume since akame is my favorite in night raid glad happy to see more of the back story and now we get at least 5 volumes of it can't be any more happier also very happy they brought Chelsea back I wonder if we'll get to see night raid founding members in future volumes.. anyways can't wait for vol.2

If you liked the Akame ga Kill anime this is a great book to look deeper into Akame's past. The art style is good and you get introduced to some unique characters. I like it a lot.

AGKZ is a must read for any AGK fans! As a prequel, it really fills in missing details plus shares a new story from the past. 😄

This is a really good manga as I've watched akame ga kill and this is the prequel 5o akame's story. Would recommend to akame ga kill fans.

its like reading a book absolutely backwards !!!!!!! start at the right corner and read to the left, takes a little to get use to, and some drawings "skip" parts... i guess u just have to make believe or come up with what happened in the book, this is past adventures- they are before NIGHT RAID, Akame works for the empire(storey line).
