Towmaster 5.70-8 LRD/8 Ply Trailer Tire and 8" White 5 Lug Wheel

For the cost of cheap tires at a tire discount place plus mounting, I got better tires already mounted in new rims.

They arrived quickly and are a great product. Very pleased. Will be ordering more in the future.

I ordered this as a spare for a small trailer with a 3500 lb rated axle. I mounted the wheel to insure its fit. While torquing the lug nuts I noticed that the rated torque of 65 lbs could not be reached without previous torqued lugs becoming loosened in the process. The center mounting surface, of the wheel, was bending toward the inside of the wheel because the wheel hub was not fitting within the circumference of the wheel ( not enough clearance to the outside of the lug ring for the wheel to sit flat against the wheel hub). Although the tire itself appears to be of decent quality, the wheel is "badly" stamped, made in China.Be VERY careful when considering this wheel / tire combination. Had I just performed a "quick" mount, like the one when you get a flat tire, this wheel would have potentially come loose and "removed" itself from the axle. When was the last time you had to check the back side of a tire for correct alignment against its mounting surface.You've been warned!!

Bought this tire on February 24 2017 and the tire is already blown out. I would really like my money back or a replacement tire because this tire should not look like this after 3 1/2 months...
