These plastic pots look like other Japanese bonsai pots, but those nice ceramic pots are expensive and heavy. These are cheap and light by comparison, but work just as well. Also, my children can paint on these pots.I’m using one for succulents now (video) but plan on using the other two to make willow bonsai trees.FYI Each pot has two mesh drain holes. I put screen door screen material over the holes though to prevent small soil particles from constantly falling out
