Yes. If you do foil curls, you can curl it without damaging it. Google foil curls and watch a tutorial . The flat iron only touches the foil and the heat curls the hair.

Can this wig be parted in the middle?

Not necessarily, but if you leave your hair out and put it behind your hairline, you can park your hair and give the illusion of having a middle part
