I bought one of these as an 'add on' to the Brazilian hammock that I purchased from Hammock Sky at the same time. For what it is (a long waterproof fabric tube with string closures at either end, it is pretty expensive. However, the design in perfect...it is very simple and effective. Not only does a great job protecting the hammock but because it is so easy to slide on and off, it will get actually be used all of the time (and not get lost in the corner of the shed or blow away). I am glad I spent the extra dollars, I am sure that it means my hammock will last a lot longer.

This cover fits my large hammock just fine, but the fabric is a bit on the thin side. Was hoping for something a bit more durable. Suspect this will rip easily in the future.... Has two small drain holes in the center of it. Ties closed tightly on each end.

I love this item. I was told by my husband that while I was at work, he observed several squirrels playing in my BRAND NEW CHRISTMAS GIFT HAMMOCK. Right away, I ordered this Hammock Sock.My hammock was taken down and washed and the Hammock sock was installed immediately and easily.The sock slides on and off without issues. It is waterproof and keeps my hammock clean from debris, and animals.To ensure I don't have any squirrel incidents, I secured the ends by wrapping the drawstrings around the rope of the hammock. This makes sure that the squirrels cannot get into the hammock by the small loops left open the ends where it is secured to the trees.I love this Hammock Sock and would highly recommend this item.

easy to install, easy to move out of the way when I want to use the hammock and easy to cover the hammock back up. It's windy where I live and the cover stays in place with ease. Stays nice and dry too.Well, update is that after 4 months, it's getting brittle and has ripped. Passed the return date which makes me wonder, it says adds years to hammock, but it only last 4 months so how does that add years?

This is excellent!!! I lost a hammock from last year because of the sun damage. I put it up this season and the strings started breaking. So I bought a new one. Then I noticed the fading started, so I got my protective sock. And glides on so easy, and after it rained it was nice that I could go get in and it was dry. Thank you for thinking of this type of product..

Wow, this is a great hammock! The Hammock Sky material is MUCH more comfortable than my last one, and I've learned that they take a bit of maintenance...the cover fits perfectly and is already providing UV and rain protection.The fit allows a person to easily and comfortably change body position due to the amount of soft but strong material. The hammock works well with my 9-ft stand, too.
