I noticed several things about the ceiling fan, the quality and workmanship that went into the making of the fan was evident at first glance and feel of the unit. And once turned on, the unit is so quite I can scarcely notice the fan if on other than noting the ever so slight breeze from the fan as it is currently in the "downdraft" mode. The air in the bedroom is no longer hot and stifled but is moving ever so quietly with the fan running. This is a great product and one I would highly recommend.
