Marcy Marxer: Ukulele for Kids 2

One of the best DVD searies for learning ukeulele that I have come across. Since it is for kids it's also simple enough that an adult can understand it too! Lots of practice exercises for struming and chords. Vol. 2 teaches 6 chords and several different strums. (vol. 1 teaches 5 chords and 3 different strums). I recommend it.

Marcy Marxer has a lovely temperment; just perfect for kids. She can teach children how to sing, play guitar, and Ukulele.our experience with Marcy began with her series on Guitar for kids, both volumes. My daughter loved it, but unfortunately, her little fingers could not handle even a small guitar. We switched to Ukulele, and were glad to learn that Marcy also taught the Uke! Now, my son is using Marcy's guitar lessons, my wife the Singing lessons, and my daughter the Ukulele teaching!Her personality is gentle, fun, and encouraging. Her silliness is exactly what kids need to hold their attention AND let them see how enjoyable music is to learn.***** Stars for everything Marcy has put out!
