These are great glasses. I really suffer when I chop onions. It is a real torture for me. Well, let me tell you, these were wonderful. I've used them twice and my eyes didn't shed one tear. It was such a job I can't say enough. I definitely would recommend these.

I'm sure I'm amongst the majority who hate to cut up onions, obviously for the mere fact that my eyes will be pouring down a waterfall of tears with the first slice, let alone stand near someone who was cutting onions. Funny that my daughter mentioned the other day that I should wear goggles every time I cut onions and then had the opportunity to review this product. I've tried every trick I've been advised to do to minimize my eyes watering, from rubbing the cutting board with lemon to having a bowl of water nearby.I was a bit skeptical at first and for the first time, my eyes didn't get irritated from the onions at all. The foam lining around the anti-fog lens wraps securely around your eyes and protects your eyes from the onion vapors. I was actually able to cut an entire onion without a single tear drop. Sharp knife? Yes. Did it help? NO2. Freeze the onion 15 minutes before cutting it? Who has time to remember that? Did it help anyway? NO3. Cut it underwater? No thanks! I hate chopping off fingers. Please folks, use a cutting board above water, it is safer.4. Cut the onion near steam? So didn’t work but my face did enjoy the steam bath.5. Breathe through your mouth and stick your tongue out? Uh, rub my belly and pat my head? Did it help? NO6. Whistle while you work? Uh, no. Did not help.7. Chewing something like bread? I will, digress. This method may have worked slightly.Really, I was just fed up with the fountain of water coming from my eyes every time I cut an onion. All I would like to know is where has these Professional Onion Goggles been all my life. I was so skeptical trying this out but I’m a believer now. The goggles are light weight anti-fog protective lenses. The lenses have padding around them to prevent the onion vapor to reach your eyes. But why stop there I use them for anything I cut they work just as good if not better than safety glasses. They fit nice and douse the job nicely of protecting you. But just a FYI if you get them make sure you give then to the cook at first I used them to try them out now I’m the designated person who cuts everything. The glasses come with a micro fiber cleaning cloth and a nice pull string storage bag so you can keep them looking new when not in use.
