There are 6 strings in the package

Set. And the B string totally failed. Came apart and unstrung, even though there wasn't much tension on it.

Yes, that's correct. The G string is unplated nylon, like the B and high E.

Q: Can this strings be use on Acoustic Guitars?

I use them on my dobro acoustic/ electric but I never use it electric, just acoustic and they sound great
