A: 12 volt DC. And has relay contact output like all other alarm sensors

**Q: How can you get and inside alarm with this unit?**
A: You can use this indoors as well. The "outdoor" part just means it is rated to withstand the outside elements for those that want to use it outdoors. There should be no issue using this indoors.

**Q: is it wireless and with a reciever**
A: Mine is not wireless it is connected to my doorbell and floodlights
